This is me in an extremely small nutshell:

I was in preschool. I told my classmates the full details of a car accident that had just happened outside, details I was getting from the unseen world, not the window. They stared. My teachers sent me to the corner to think about my actions.

I did think about them. Just not the way they wanted.

I went on being a happy kid, called my parents into my room some nights to tell them about the “things” I could see, and quietly kept doing what I’d always done. I just stopped mentioning it to most people.

Here we are, more than 20 years of professional work later. That corner was the beginning of everything.

That horse is my pride and joy. So are my cats, dogs, and yes, my human family too. I live in a historic town in New England with my husband and kids, and frankly, the animals run the house.
